We had a truly magical time hosting our “Photos with Santa” event, which attracted a fantastic turnout! Santa journeyed from the North Pole, accompanied by the Grinch, creating a joyful atmosphere filled with homemade cookies made with OONI, fresh cotton candy, snacks, and gift bags.
Kids were invited to mail heartfelt letters to Santa, sharing their acts of kindness and Christmas wishes. We also had a printed Toy Flyer from Valley Ace, where kids could spend time looking at and circling items they might want to ask for. With over 45 families joining us, the spirit of joy and togetherness filled every corner, as laughter and smiles brightened the day.
The Grinch was a wonderful addition, exuding charm just like in the movies. His engaging presence captivated the children as they playfully chased him, and his journey to the Christmas parade brought even more smiles and laughter to everyone.
Among the many memorable moments, my favorite was when a young boy expressed the need for companionship among his toy soldiers, saying, “My toy soldiers were lonely and needed wives!” He even chose a Barbie with a dog, ensuring that his army dogs would have friends as well!
